About
Goat Guy
We're a family-owned small business serving Southeast Idaho with a herd of 40+ working goats. For the past two years, we've helped property owners control noxious weeds, reduce brush, lower wildfire fuels, and reclaim overgrown land through targeted grazing.
Using a combination of NoFence technology and traditional fencing when needed, we provide an effective, environmentally friendly alternative to heavy equipment and repeated chemical treatments.
We eat the weeds so you don't have to.

Meet Caleb
Caleb Slade is the owner and operator of Goat Guy. After developing a fascination with goats and recognizing the need for more sustainable land management options, he founded Goat Guy to help property owners tackle weeds, brush, and overgrown landscapes through targeted grazing. Originally from Colorado, Caleb now proudly calls Southeast Idaho home. He and his wife, Olivia, work together to manage their herd and look forward to helping bring a natural solution to your next project.
Meet the Goat Gang
Meet the Goat Gang! Each month, we feature one of our hardworking employees and the important role they play in keeping properties clear, healthy, and weed-free.

April: Tempest
Tempest is the father of all the new kids this year. They are all healthy and strong thanks to his gentle giant genetics.

May: 390
She might not have a name, but she's the true GOAT. Always hard at work she never complains and is happy to do her job.

June: Red Oreo
This small queen has been the best mom. Raising the strongest little buckling right on the job.

July: Poppy
Poppy is hands down the friendliest goat on the crew and never misses a chance to make a new friend. She also earned some serious bragging rights this year as the only nanny in our herd to give birth to triplets. Way to go, Poppy!
